Glory!!! We've Turned The Corner!

Molly is now back at Belmont upon spending a semester in the "desert" at Morehead Univ. After much prayer and listening, God led her back but not without learning some valuable lessons in a short time. I would even dare to say that she passed the "Morehead test." She is extremely blessed and excited to be back on the floor in the exact room she was supposed to have been in had she stayed there last fall. God is so sweet. Lord, pour out Your Spirit on both campuses. Raise up young Spirit-led leaders that look just like Jesus and may their witness highly recommend Christ to this deceived, sin mismanaged, truth starving country. Glory is always just around the corner. Geaux Bruins!!!

A Look in the Mirror-Reflecting the Image of Christ?

FBCR Prayer Retreat Jan. 23-24, 2009    Guest prayer retreat leader, Leighann McCoy, came and blessed us this weekend as God was and is calling us to reflect His heart through all our circumstances no matter what they may be.  Is this possible?  Only in Christ! Forty-three women attended, each at a different place in their walk but with the same desire to finish the race by pressing forth toward the prize.  God is continuing the magnificent work He began in us as He is "HGTVing" our heart.  He wants to continue the interior design work on the inside as we cooperate in the rebuilding process.  Many need old wounds bound up.  Many need their minds renewed.  And many need to allow Him to touch their hearts in all honesty and get to some root issues like pride and selfishness for true healing.   But we all have the same goal.  We want to look like Christ and reflect His image to our husbands, children, families, friends, neighbors and enemies.  "Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.  And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit."
2 Cor. 3:17-18.  "How else will anyone know that You that You are pleased with me and with Your people unless You go with us?  What else will distinguish me and Your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?" Exodus 33:16  Lord, make us over into the Spirit-filled women you desire.  Make us distinguishable and give us the grace to cooperate!!  Love, joy and peace in Jesus' name, Amen.

Happy New Jeers!!!!

2009 is off and running! I can't believe January is half way over already. I just want to say that God has been amazing to me and my family thus far and seems to be in the mood to bless, bless, and bless some more.  No wonder Jesus had to come to earth and show us the One True God. He is so amazingly nice, kind, loving, and over the top generous!!! People need to know the Truth. Nothing in all the universe beats a relationship with God through His Son, Jesus.  Happy Jesus New Year!!!

Tokyo Comes To Kentucky!

Molly's friend, Ranko, is spending part of Christmas with us since it is so expensive to go home.  We are totally blessed by her and thankful to God for allowing us to host her.  She is precious and I pray she will experience Christmas like never before.  In Tokyo, the big holiday is New Year's.  Lord, help us to throw down a month- long birthday party for Christ and glorify His Name in our house!  Happy B-day Jesus!!!
