Jason Goodwin Stories 1

Lauren, Joel and Margeaux!

It's official! Lauren and Joel are having a baby girl. I really thought it would be a boy simply because they seemed more like "boy people." I am probably most excited about the "pigtail" possibilities or "pinktails" as Molly used to call them. Thank you, LORD, for this amazing blessing. May Your peace reign in this child. Shalom!

Knock Knock, Who's There?

Our Neighborhood Bible Study for the spring semester kicked off last night! We are studying the book of Mark and our workbooks are from the neighborhoodbiblestudy.org people. We had 8 people plus me and Mike for a total of 10. PTL! We had 2 new neighbors who are originally from India and have no previous Bible knowledge whatsoever. They have seen changes in their daughter since she has accepted Christ and thought He was worth looking into. Way to go, God! Great job orchestrating this group for the 2nd time. In the verse in Revelation 3:20 Christ says, "I stand at the the door and knock; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me." My spin on this is that as Mike and I open our door to them, we pray they will open their "door" to Him!!! 1Corinthians 16:9a confirmed, "There is a wide-open door for a great work here!"

Glory!!! We've Turned The Corner!

Molly is now back at Belmont upon spending a semester in the "desert" at Morehead Univ. After much prayer and listening, God led her back but not without learning some valuable lessons in a short time. I would even dare to say that she passed the "Morehead test." She is extremely blessed and excited to be back on the floor in the exact room she was supposed to have been in had she stayed there last fall. God is so sweet. Lord, pour out Your Spirit on both campuses. Raise up young Spirit-led leaders that look just like Jesus and may their witness highly recommend Christ to this deceived, sin mismanaged, truth starving country. Glory is always just around the corner. Geaux Bruins!!!
